Tamron 28-75mm Di III RXD FE Adorama Preview Video

Adorama just released a quick look at the new Tamron 28-75mm Di III RXD FE. I am personally considering getting this lens to replace my Zeiss 24-70mm f/4, because I would like a little more speed and possibly sharpness. Hopefully, the new Tamron lives up to the hype, but it might be few more weeks before we know anything for sure.

3 Nikon Smart AF Adapter Adapters Compared

Matt Granger compared the Commlite ENF-E1 Pro, Vello LAE-SE-NF V5, and Fotodiox Pro EF-Sny(E) Smart AF Adapter. While all three are remarkably similar there are slight differences in performance thanks to the firmware so make sure you have the most up to date firmware if you’re using one of these. All three are very usable, but you will want to watch the video to decide which is best for you.

Tamron 28-75mm Di III RXD FE Shipping May 24/25, AF Testing and Image Quality Comparisons

A few vloggers have gotten their hands on the Tamron 28-75mm Di III RXD FE for testing and while it doesn’t look like an amazingly fast lens it certainly looks like the results are worth the money. The above video just has some AF photo and video testing along with some sample snaps, while the below video has a more comprehensive review, but there is no auto translation available yet. Let’s hope this lens provides the value that Tamron is promising as they begin to enter the E-mount market.

Amazon says the Tamron 28-75mm Di III RXD FE will be in stock the 24th, while B&H Photo says it is coming in the 25th of May. Of course, the dates can always change, but those are the latest projections.
