Nokishita just leaked a new Tamron lens the Tamron 11-20mm f/2.8 Di III-A RXD and there is a comparison shot to the 17-70mm so I think this is for APS-C. You can read the specs below.

Tamron’s “11-20mm F / 2.8 Di III-A RXD” has a lens configuration of 12 elements in 10 groups, a minimum shooting distance of 0.15m (wide angle) / 0.24m (telephoto), and a maximum shooting magnification of 1: 4 (wide angle) / 1. : 7.6 (telephoto), filter diameter 67mm, size φ73×86.2mm, weight 335g.
