Samyang announced an updated Samyang AF 50mm f/1.4 FE today and retailers immediately discounted the version one lens $300. The Samyang AF 50mm f/1.4 FE is a pretty decent fast 50 and it is probably worth picking up discounted. The new mark II lens only seems to be smaller with slightly faster AF.
