IBC 2025 News Shooter Coverage: Viltrox NEXUS PL to E Pro Adapter, New Viltrox Air EVO & LAB Series Lenses, and Laowa 200mm f/2 $1999!

News shooter is covering IBC 2025, and Laowa made some interesting announcements at the event, including that the Laowa 200mm f/2 will be $1,999 for Sony-E mount.

Viltrox Nexus AF anapter for PL cine lenses with LiDAR and Zoom. Coming later this year, and the price is to be announced.

Viltrox showed off some new lenses at IBC 2025

  • Viltrox 9mm f/2.8 for Sony E-mount Coming Sept 19th for $199
  • Viltrox 14mm f/4 for Sony E-mount Coming Soon for $199
  • Viltrox 85 f/2, between the Pro and Air series, is the Evo series, which will be compact and lightweight without a compromise of image quality. Coming late October.
  • Viltrox 50mm f/1.4 Pro lens. Coming late October.
  • Viltrox Z3 TTL Flash coming in grey and green
  • Air series is the entry series, Evo series is a new series that is just below the Pro series, and finally, Viltrox has the LAB series, which is their top lens
