Sony FE 24-70mm f/2.8 GM lens supply shortage

Sony Japan issued a service notice indicating a supply shortage for the new Sony FE 24-70mm f/2.8 GM lens. No release date was provided, but the lens has already been shipping in limited quantities worldwide (including the US).
