There was a false report earlier today about the Sony a9 II order page changing to a request assistance button; it was not because of Trump’s tariffs, but because the camera has been discontinued abroad, so B&H Photo is likely just having trouble finding stock. B&H Photo must have worked it out pretty quickly, though, because you can currently order cameras from them again, so they might have had some more in the warehouse, or there might have been one last shipment in transit to them.
If you want a Sony a9II now, it’s probably a good time to get one, because the US does lag overseas when it comes to cameras being discontinued, but I don’t imagine you will be able to get new Sony a9II cameras for very much longer, considering it was discontinued last year overseas.
