Godox V1 Pro With Active Cooling Might Be Coming Soon

A patent for a new Godox V1 Pro with active cooling was found by lightingrumours that adds a fan to the Godox V1 that should solve its overheating “issues.” When the Godoxo V1 first launched it had aggressive anti-overheating protection that shut the flash down during demanding shoots.

This was somewhat remedied by firmware 1.4 that just slowed the flash cycle time instead to protect the flash from overheating. The new AD100Pro that was just released already implemented a cooling fan if you do not want to wait and think that your shooting style might be too demanding for the Godox V1.
