This isn’t an exhaustive list, but this is what we know is coming so far from reliable sources. September should be a big month for Sony.
- Fuji GFX100: or will be announced on May 23
- Hasselblad X1D-100: It will be available in the second half of this year and will be equipped with a new Sony 100 million pixel sensor
- Leica SL2: launched in the second half of this year, using the same sensor as the Panasonic S1R
- Canon’s high-end EOS-R camera: may be equipped with a new 64 million pixel sensor, will be available in the fall
- Canon EOS-M500: The entry-level APS-C camera will be available this fall
- Sony A9II: will be released in September and has some revolutionary advances (especially in terms of sensors)
- Sony A7sIII: appeared with Sony A9II or slightly announced…
- Olympus E-M5 III: will be released in late summer/early autumn, and may use a new 32-megapixel Sony sensor
- Nikon may not release a new Z camera this year
- Panasonic is currently not sure if it will bring their new 8K GH6 camera this year.
