Cameras Coming From Fujifilm, Sony, Canon, Nikon, Panasonic, Olympus, and Hasselblad in 2019


This isn’t an exhaustive list, but this is what we know is coming so far from reliable sources. September should be a big month for Sony.

  1. Fuji GFX100: or will be announced on May 23
  2. Hasselblad X1D-100: It will be available in the second half of this year and will be equipped with a new Sony 100 million pixel sensor
  3. Leica SL2: launched in the second half of this year, using the same sensor as the Panasonic S1R
  4. Canon’s high-end EOS-R camera: may be equipped with a new 64 million pixel sensor, will be available in the fall
  5. Canon EOS-M500: The entry-level APS-C camera will be available this fall
  6. Sony A9II: will be released in September and has some revolutionary advances (especially in terms of sensors)
  7. Sony A7sIII: appeared with Sony A9II or slightly announced…
  8. Olympus E-M5 III: will be released in late summer/early autumn, and may use a new 32-megapixel Sony sensor
  9. Nikon may not release a new Z camera this year
  10. Panasonic is currently not sure if it will bring their new 8K GH6 camera this year.
