Sigma 28-70mm Size Comparison With Sigma 24-70mm, Tamron 28-75mm, and Sony 24-70mm

If you’re looking for a compact zoom lens the Sigma 28-70mm f/2.8 DG DN Contemporary is hard to beat. Camera Size.com included the Sigma 28-70mm f/2.8 its latest update and the lens looks minuscule compared to the Sony 24-70mm f/2.8 GM. I personally would go for the Tamron 28-75mm f/2.8 or Sigma 24-70mm f/2.8, but if you want compact and Sigma the Sigma 28-70mm f/2.8 looks good.

Sony Alpha 1 Video Hack

Gerald Undone has discovered that the internal recording resolution settings affect the external recording quality of your camera so if you use an external recorder like the Ninja V leave your camera set to 8k for the best image quality. Leaving your camera set to 8k will improve the quality of 4k external recording and if you drop it to 1080p it will reduce the quality even if the external recorder is recording 4k.
