The Sigma 50mm f/1.2 will be coming soon for Sony E and Leica L mount. The lens will have 13 aperture blades with a 77mm filter size and should be more affordable than the Sony FE 50mm f/1.2 GM.


There is also a Sigma announcement event coming up on 3/26 at 8 am EST when the Sigma 50mm f/1.2 DG DN | Art might be announced.

Viltrox 56mm f/1.7 and Viltrox 40mm f/2.5 Coming In April

According to Weibo the Viltrox 56mm f/1.7 and Viltrox 40mm f/ 2.5 will come next month in April and both lenses will be priced at around 899 yuan or $124.87 USD. Both lenses will be very affordable and will likely be worth picking up.

VILTROX’s new AF56mm F1.7 APS-C and AF40mm F2.5 full-frame lenses may be released next month.

AF56mm F1.7 debuts with Fuji X mount, equipped with Fuji X/Sony E/Nikon Z mount, and is expected to sell for only 899.

AF40mm F2.5 debuts with Nikon Z mount and is available with Nikon Z/Fuji X/Sony E mount. It is expected to sell for only 899.
