New details about upcoming Viltrox lenses were revealed on weibo and the prices are surprisingly good. The Viltrox 56mm f/1.7 in particular should be popular thanks to it coming in at around 899 yuan or $124.93 and according to comments Viltrox made on weibo it will be released later next month. It’s interesting how forward Chinese companies are on weibo compared to western platforms.
According to Viltrox’s 2024 new lens roadmap,
several new products will be released:
– Viltrox AF16mm F1.8 Z full-frame,
expected to sell for only about 3,499.– Viltrox AF56mm F1.7 ZEX APS-C
is expected to sell for only about 899.– Viltrox AF40mm F2.5 ZE full frame
is expected to sell for only about 899.– Viltrox AF135mm F1.8 ZE full frame,
the Z mount version will be released after the E mount.
