Sigma 800mm f/6.3 Likely Coming Soon

Sigma used to produce a Sigma 800mm f/5.6 EX DG HSM APO Ultra for SLR, but now according to weibo Sigma will produce a Sigma 800mm f/6.3 lens for E-mount.

Recently, multiple domestic and overseas sources have pointed out that the specifications of the super telephoto prime lens that Sigma is about to release are basically confirmed to be 800mm F6.3! It was mentioned before that Sigma CEO Mr. Yamaki Kazuto said in an interview that the “super telephoto lens with unprecedented specifications” will be released soon, and the source pointed out that there will be two lenses, one fixed and one zoom. This column has previously inferred that the focal length of the fixed lens will be 800mm (confirmed)

Hopefully, Sigm can produce the Sigma 800mm f/6.3 at an attractive price point.
