Sony released firmware 3.00 for the Sony a7RV yesterday and today they released an announcement that it has been pulled. It appears that some updates are failing and bricking cameras.

Important Notice
We confirmed that some ILCE-7RM5 cameras may not start up after installing the version 3.00 update.
We have suspended the update while we investigate the cause.
