Godox V1 Pro Review – Fixes More Than Thermal Protection Mode

The Godox V1 was a very popular flash that provided a lot of bang for the buck, but it had some thermal issues that are now solved in the Godox V1 Pro. The Gofox V1 Pro doesn’t enter thermal protection mode as quickly as the V1, but Godox also improved other aspects of the flash.

One aspect of improvement that hasn’t been widely discussed is that Godox corrected the green color cast of the original V1 providing a perfectly neutral flash. Godox also added a USB-C port to the battery for charging and a TT960 battery pack port for about 900 full-powered flashes. The Godo V1 Pro also has a flash on flash the Godox SU1 which is powered by the V1.
