Today, DZOFILM brings its Marlin 1.6x expander to the public. Extending the effective focal length and image circle by 1.6x, Marlin can convert Super 35 Pictor Zoom lenses or other lenses on your hands to cover Full Frame or Vista Vision. Extends the Effective Focal Length and Image Circle by 1.6x
With Marlin 1.6x expander, users could convert Super 35 lenses to cover Full Frame or Vista Vision. This expander enlarges focal length and the diameter of the image circle by a factor of 1.6x with only 1.5 stops light loss.
Retains Outstanding Optical Performance and Operability
Marlin 1.6x expander not only maintains superior image quality without degrading resolution, but also ensures S35 lenses to use on FF and VV cameras, which enriches the use of lenses without changing the field of view.
Special Rings Achieve Quick Back Flange Adjustment
Based on DZOFILM unique rings, there is no need for shimming or mount replacement when users calibrate minor back flange (Excl. PL-PL and PL-LPL versions).
Solid and sturdy, compact and light-weight
Constructed with detachable supporting base and stainless steel mount, Marlin 1.6x expander is pretty solid. Each expander weighs no more than 0.7kg and the length is only 109mm.

Strong Matching Suitability
Marlin is specially designed for our Pictor Zoom series, which allows to use Pictor Zoom lenses on full frame cameras without vignetting. Yet it can also work with most lenses in the market. Price and Availability
The price of PL-E, PL-RF, PL-L expanders are $1159, while PL-LPL, PL-PL versions are $1699.
DZOFILM will start to ship Marlin 1.6x expanders in early July.
