It features a wide T2.9 to T22 aperture, a 16-blade iris for a smooth bokeh, and a long 29.1″ close focus range.

True to its cine design, it has a focus rotation of 240°, a 100° zoom rotation range, and a 75° iris rotation range. The lens features a Sony E-mount, and it can be easily interchanged with optional RF, L, X, and Z mounts. Multiple accessories are included with the lens, including front and rear lens caps, a shim set, a support base, a support rod, and a filter bracket.
