DXO: Sony a6600 Sensor Review

Sony is trying to take its NEX APS-C line of cameras more seriously now that they feel confident about their mirrorless full-frame camera line up. But how far has the a6600 come from its predecessors beyond AF performance? According to DXO mark the Sony a6500 sensor performs slightly better than the a6600.

It looks like Sony is going to need a new APS-C sensor soon if they wish to pull ahead like they have in Full Frame. The rest of the review is pretty standard, but if you want to read it DXO has it posted here. If you don’t need the crazy AF tracking speed of the a6600 then you might be better off with a Sony a6500.
