It’s good to see that Voigtländer making more mechanical lenses with chips in them for Sony FE mount. I wonder if this one will make similar claims of optical optimization in the marketing materials to the 10mm. The Voigtländer Heliar Ultra Wide-Angle 12mm F5.6 III FE will be released on September 7th.

“The main features of the E-mount version, to communicate with the Sony α series of mirror-less camera, lens correction function and camera shake correction mechanism in the camera (equipped models only) can be utilized. Suggested retail price is tax 130,000 5,000 yen.”
