New Loupedeck Creative Tool

Loupedeck released a new tool today that is great for creative professionals that work with a variety of Adobe software programs and/or Final Cut Pro.

The Loupedeck Creative Tool is a powerful and customizable console that puts editing and design software tools at your fingertips. Compatible with Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, and Lightroom, Apple Final Cut Pro, Ableton Live, and more, users will be able to create and switch been custom workspaces, select and customize tools and brushes, switch between working with photos and videos, or jump between different software titles, all from one interface.

Loupedeck’s Creative Tool works with Windows 10 and macOS 10.12 or later. It supports both USB and Bluetooth connections and requires an external power supply. Included is a USB 2.0 Type-C to Type-A cable.

6 New Unannounced Tamron Lenses In Development

Tamron manager Jared Powers above says that there are 6 lenses in development in addition to the 4 that Tamron just announced. There is no confirmation that all 6 will be coming to E-Mount, but most probably will especially if they are all mirrorless.

Also, the 70-180mm f/2.8 will ship during the first half of 2020.

  • Benefits and improvements:
    • Improved exposure accuracy during continuous shooting.
    • Improved AF stability with Tamron 35-150/2.8-4 VC OSD A043
    • If a hardware fault is detected with the aperture diaphragm there will be a very bright red blink with the LED of Mark V, Speed Booster II, CINE Smart Adapter and CINE Speed Booster. If that happens, check the aperture diaphragm if it is stopping down as commanded using the ‘Aperture (DoF) Preview’ function. Bring the lens to the lens vendor for a check-up. If the LED is lit with normal brightness in red it is just an indication of operation in Advanced mode. The aperture diaphragm hardware fault indicator is very bright.
    • For diagnostics, the firmware version of the lens is now appended to the EXIF lens name.

Sony is adding real-time animal eye AF to the Sony RX10 Mark 4 which is surprising. It looks like Sony is finally going to start to provide firmware updates that add features to their cameras across the board wherever capable like Fujifilm has been doing for a while.
