Sony a7RII Discontinued After 6 Years in Production

The Sony a7RII has been discontinued after 6 years of availability according to B&H Photo. Amazon and Adorama still have some stock left, but it seems the last big sale sold the remainder of the cameras B&H Photo had on hand. Further Amazon has one deeply discounted camera left for $1,499 while Adorama returned to the old $2k+ retail price.

2021 Sony Corporate Report

Sony released its 2021 Corporate Report, which you can check out here. It’s interesting how much more diverse Sony has become over the years starting off largely as an electronics company in this report and transforming into a more diverse entity with gaming making up the largest portion of the company. Cameras and sensors are briefly mentioned throughout the report as being important, but the report is general in nature.
