Gordon Laing’s New Retro Review Channel Dino Bytes Has Some Classic Sony Cameras

Gordon Laing launched a new channel Dino Bytes that has a lot of retro Sony camera content that is worth checking out. It looks like he is just getting started and will likely be covering content beyond cameras on the channel from what it currently contains, but it’s certainly interesting looking back on some of these classics.

In particular, I recall the Sony Mavica line being incredibly popular since it shot to disk and later CD which made it easy for people to transfer content to their computers because connectivity wasn’t always reliable in the past due to a variety of problems that you could run into pugging accessories into your computer. In fact, my local school system invested pretty heavily to Sony’s vision for digital cameras just because of how reliably they worked for people that were not tech-savvy.
