DPRTV: Sony The Good The Bad and The Ugly

By Louis Ferreira | Published: March 18, 2022

DPRTV posted an interesting video about Sony Alpha  Cameras. Below is a summary of the above video

The Good

  • Sony has the best system for storage
  • Autofocus performance that sets the standard
  • Open with lens mount protocols

The Bad

  • Sony cameras aren’t attractive they are utilitarian and not beautiful
  • Sony has some arbitrary limitations in their lineup like the FX3 not having the full cinema interface
  • End the numbers game cameras aren’t about specs
  • Figure out what you’re going to do with your APS-C lineup
  • Would like to see an RX10 replacement
