The Sony RX100VA has been listed as discontinued abroad, but some are still available on Amazon if you are interested. The evolution of the Sony RX100 has been an interesting one, but Sony decided to abandon using a wide-aperture zoom design in favor of pursuing more reach with a smaller-aperture zoom. I still love my original Sony RX100 and I doubt I will ever get rid of it, but the Sony RX100VA is very tempting.
