Tamron released a new firmware update for the Tamron 150-500mm F/5-6.7 Di III VC VXD that improves multiple aspects of the lens, available for download here.

1. Improved AF performance during zooming
2. With α9 III, when its focus mode is set to AF-S, DMF, or MF, it will support continuous shooting at up to approximately 120 frames per second
3. Improved of AF assist function.
