Pros:

  • excellent image quality in the frame centre across the whole focal range to boot,
  • good image quality on the edge of the APS-C sensor,
  • sensible image quality on the edge of full frame for shorter focal lengths,
  • negligible longitudinal chromatic aberration,
  • low spherical aberration,
  • moderate astigmatism,
  • sensible coma correction,
  • nice out-of-focus areas,
  • slient, quick, and accurate autofocus,
  • slight vignetting on the APS-C sensor,
  • good performance against bright light,
  • good price/performance ratio.

Cons:

  • very high vignetting on full frame,
  • noticeable lateral chromatic aberration at the 75 mm focal length.
