Pros:
- very good image quality in the frame centre across the whole focal range,
- sensible image quality on the edge of the APS-C sensor,
- lack of more serious problems with longitudinal chromatic aberration,
- negligible lateral chromatic aberration,
- low spherical aberration,
- moderate astigmatism,
- silent, quick, and accurate autofocus,
- slight vignetting on the APS-C sensor,
- sensible performance against bright light,
- moderate “focus breathing”.
Cons:
- high vignetting on full frame,
- noticeable distortion on the widest angle of view.
