Pros:

  • very solid and weather-sealed mechanical construction,
  • excellent image quality in the frame centre,
  • very good image quality on the edge of the APS-C sensor,
  • sensible image quality on the edge of full frame,
  • moderate longitudinal chromatic aberration,
  • negligible lateral chromatic aberration,
  • lack of any coma problems,
  • very low astigmatism,
  • good performance of autofocus,
  • proper performance against bright light.

Cons:

  • huge vignetting that decreases slowly on stopping down the aperture,
  • a tad too high distortion,
  • distinct focus breathing.
