Zeiss ZX1 Discontinued

It looks like the incredibly unique Zeiss ZX1 is being discontinued with no follow-up camera planned that we are aware of. I always found the ZX1 camera interesting, but I think Zeiss messed up with its high Leica-like price point that it could not justify. I’d really like to pick up a Zeiss ZX1 at some point in the future, but I simply can’t justify the price of the camera over a Sony RX1 or Leica Q2 which I have owned before and both are fantastic cameras. It’s notable to mention that the Leica Q has always been a very strong seller while the Sony RX1 has not been, but it continues to be produced for a niche part of the market.
