MonsterAdapter LA-EA4r Firmware v07 and Upgrade Kit

MonsterAdapter released an upgrade kit for the MonsterAdapter LA-EA4r that you can purchase here the kit requires you up upgrade to firmware v07 which you can get here. Below are all the directions and details.

This product only contains the circuit board for replacement, you need the original LA-EA4 lens adapter (sold separately) for modification.

The item can be returned only with the package seal unopened.

Please beware the customs tax, if any, is not included.

Description:
MonsterAdapter LA-EA4r Upgrade Kit (EA4r for short) is specifically designed to drive old Minolta/Sony A-mount body-driven autofocus lens on the Sony E-mount mirrorless camera, allowing hundreds of focus points and advanced autofocus features such as human and animal eye AF, whatever is provided by the camera.

You will need to install the EA4r circuit board provided in the package into your Sony LA-EA4 adapter, replacing the counterpart in it. The complete installation guide in both written and video will be provided for your reference.

Limitation:

1. No SSM/SAM lenses are supported after modification with this board;

2. Auto focus for video shooting is not supported.

Fully Restorable Modification

You can easily and fully restore to the original LA-EA4 after the modification as long as you well preserve the removed board and mirror.
