The Sony RX1 and RX1R can now be found used for around $1,000 in very good condition, but they are still selling for around $3,000 new on Amazon. For those unfamiliar with the Sony RX1 line, they are great little fixed-lens full-frame cameras with a fantastic 35mm f/2 Zeiss lens attached to them. These cameras have an almost magical quality to them and I absolutely loved mine while I had it, but I sold it to help fund my Leica Q.
Now I am considering buying one used again myself and you should too because there is nothing quite like this camera even all these years later. It’s not the fastest camera and the battery life isn’t the best, but the image quality is almost impossible to beat.
