Sony a6600, a6400, and ZV-E10 Shortages Have Come and More Are Coming

Sony announced some manufacturing changes they were making to deal with supply chain issues back in December. Now there are some new shortages coming that you can see below:

Update date and time product name About supply status
February 17, 2022 ILME-FX6VK / PXW-Z150 / PXW-Z90 and multi-battery adapter kit NPA-MQZ1K After February 17, 2022, we will suspend the acceptance of orders from our distributors and customers’ orders at the Sony store.

DC.Life spotted the previously announced changes impacting the availability of the Sony a6600, a6400, and ZV-E10 which you can see below:

Orders for Sony “α6600”, “α6400”, and “VLOGCAM ZV-E10” have been suspended due to delays in parts procurement due to the effects of global semiconductor shortages. You can also check the notation “Cannot purchase”.

The ILME-FX6VK / PXW-Z150 / PXW-Z90 cameras are already out of stock so shortages are coming quickly and it is likely we could see more in the near future so do not delay any purchase that you might need to make over the next year.

There are still a few cameras out there but scalpers on Amazon are already driving the price up.
