Sony Star Eater Petition

If you care about IQ and image purity than you should support the correction of the star eater noise reduction problem currently plaguing Sony’s lineup of cameras. I spend a lot of time and money on my astrophotography, which is why I don’t use Sony cameras for it, but if you only shoot Sony this issue should concern you. You should also be concerned about how this might affect the fine details of your regular long exposure landscape photography if you are not into astrophotography. At the very least Sony should have multiple settings for this issue. You can find the petition at change.org

On a side note please don’t spam comments to get me to post something. We have a contact forum for a reason and I will respond to just about any reasonable request. If you self-promote in comments your comments will either be deleted or ignored. If email isn’t your thing then you can contact me through the Sonyaddict facebook page for a more immediate response.
