If you’re using a Sony a9 it’s crucial that you get the fastest memory cards available, but you can save a little money with the Lexar 2000X series of UHS-II cards. The almost imperceivable difference between the Sony SF-G and Lexar 2000X cards in the Sony a9 is quite impressive. It’s unfortunate that Micro is discontinuing their cards because some are an incredible value, hopefully, someone else buys the division. In the mean time if you want top performance and to save $25-$30 a card check out the Lexar 2000X series. The Sony a9 goes through memory cards like water and your bank account will appreciate the savings.
