The new Sony lenses that were just announced are somewhat impressive, but not a lot is known about them yet. So far there are a lot of videos available and Sony’s image gallery, but there isn’t a lot of information about how the ADP element affects AF yet. Fujifilm’s ADP lens is unable to utilize PDAF, which is a pretty big disadvantage beyond the loss of light, but if you’re into this kind of lens it should be amazing.
