There are a lot of options for adapting lenses to the Sony E mount, but the most trusted and well known is metabones. While doing research into their adapters found an excellent resource compiled by Brian Smith with the help of B&H Photo that is incredibly thorough and even includes generic alternatives. Brian has compiled a list of almost every Canon EF mount lens you can think of and how well it performs on the following different adapters.
Metabones Canon EF Lens to E-Mount (both perform the same, but the T is designed to be antireflective)
Metabones T Smart Adapter IV
Metabones Smart Adapter IV
Fotodiox AF Adapter for Canon EF to E-Mount B&H Photo
Fotodiox AF Adapter for Canon EF to E-Mount Amazon
Viltrox Auto-focus Canon EF to Sony E-Mount Adapter II
If Image stabilization is important then you will want to stick with metabones, but beyond IS all three of these adapters appear to be good choices for the vast majority of lenses available. I highly recommend checking out Brian Smith’s list if you own one of these adapters or are considering one.
