Sony a99II Announced

Sony announces the Sony a99II with pro build quality 42MP sensor, A mount SLT, 300,000+ shutter operation life and dust/mosture resistant. I am very surprised to see this camera at $3,199. It is very similar to the A7, with slight improvements. You can see the whole video linked to on our facebook page.

    I hope photographers love it because on the video end, this is a huge slap in the face.

      those a single digit cameras were a slap in the face for photographers so meh

    Can their lenses resolve such a sensor?

    • I’m sure the Zeiss ones can. They were very well built. I don’t think this system is going to take off personally, but you never know.

        I think this is a jab at the people who called the Sony a7 series a toy camera. Now the consumer can choose at a good price now.
