Commlite CM-EF-E HS is a next-generation adapter that is designed to mount Canon EF and Canon EF-S Canon EF-S lenses on Sony E-mount cameras.
From previous versions of this adapter differs in that it has, in addition to supporting a conventional system of contrast autofocusing, also has a phase autofocus. Switching between these systems takes place by means of a corresponding button on the adapter ring housing. The main advantage of phase autofocus before contrast is the speed of operation.
Inside the adapter has a special anti-reflective coating in the form of a spiral, which prevents re-reflection inside the ring and provides an ideal cleanliness of the photos.
Another innovation is the adapter firmware update system, which will help to quickly correct mistakes and make improvements. The firmware is updated with the standard USB-MicroUSB cable.
