Silver is added to color variations for L-Mount lenses
In addition to the existing black models, a brand new silver models are added to the lineup for all nine I series L-Mount lenses. The new lineup enables photographers and filmmakers to enjoy the unique color of the I series, which is made from machined metal.

The silver and black colors of the Sigma BF camera, also announced at this time, have the same finish to match, creating a unified shooting system by combining a lens from the I series with the Sigma BF.

New Broncolor RFS 3S Transmitter

Featuring a straightforward stylish design for easy operation, this RFS 3S Transmitter for Sony from Broncolor provides manual control of select power packs and monolights. With a convenient full-color OLED touchscreen, the RFS 3S works with Satos, Scoro, Siros, and Move models equipped with the RFS 2 module. This highly compact transmitter slides onto your compatible Sony camera’s hot shoe. Transmission range is from up to 328′. It weighs a mere 1.6 oz and is powered by a built-in USB-C rechargeable battery that fully charges in two hours. Broncolor includes the charging cable and a bag for safe storage.

Easy Operation
Users will appreciate a full-color OLED touchscreen backed by an integrated rotary control and two local buttons. Simply swipe and tap to adjust all necessary parameters. The Viltrox 85mm f/1.4 FE Pro was first leaked last November along with our first look at the Viltrox 35mm f/1.2 FE. According to weibo the Viltrox 85mm f/1.4 Pro will be announced alongside the 35mm f/1.2. It will be accompanied by a new Air lens the Viltrox 50mm f/2.0.

The first real image of the new Viltrox AF85mm F1.4 Pro full-frame lens. The lens will be unveiled at the CP+ exhibition at the end of February. It has Sony E and Nikon Z mounts and will be unveiled together with the Viltrox AF135mm F1.8 LAB Nikon Z mount lens, AF35mm F1.2 LAB full-frame lens, AF85mm F1.4 Pro full-frame lens, and AF50mm F2.0 Air full-frame lens.
If all goes well, there may be a mysterious new lens…

Enhances AF Performance During Zooming and Supports Continuous Shooting with Sony α9 III

Commack, NY, February 19, 2025 11pm ET, – Tamron announces a new firmware update scheduled for release on February 19, 2025, for the TAMRON 35-150mm F/2-2.8 DI III VXD (Model A058) for Sony E-mount.

With this new firmware update, AF performance during zooming is improved when shooting videos and still images in AF-C mode. Additionally, with the Sony α9 III, when the focus mode is set to AF-S, DMF, or MF, the lens will support continuous shooting at up to approximately 120 frames per second.
