OL: Tamron 25-200mm f/2.8-5.6 G2 Model A075l Review – Solid Under 30 Megapixel

Tamron 25-200mm F2.8-5.6 G2: B&H Photo / Amazon

Optical Limits published its full review of the Tamron 25-200mm F2.8-5.6 G2, and it sounds like it is a great lens for lower megapixel cameras. You can read the full review here or check out the excerpt below

Overall, it’s a decent travel zoom lens. However, the natural home of the Tamron 25-200mm f/2.8-5.6 Di III VXD G2 is more on ~30 megapixel cameras rather than 60+.

Pros

  1. Much improved build quality
  2. Great zoom range
  3. Extremely fast AF

Cons

  1. Somewhat inconsistent optical qualities
