Samyang is teasing a new 2nd generation lens coming 7/28/2022. Samyang has been updating their existing AF lenses lately, and this one is tied to their 50th-anniversary celebration. Samyang has updated other lenses with improved color tones, modern design, improved AF performance, custom buttons, and weather-ceiling.
