Pros:

  • a solid, sealed, and, at the same time, compact barrel for these parameters,
  • sensational image quality in the frame centre,
  • very good image quality on the edge of the APS-C sensor,
  • good image quality on the edge of full frame,
  • slight longitudinal chromatic aberration,
  • low lateral chromatic aberration,
  • negligible spherical aberration,
  • properly corrected coma,
  • low astigmatism,
  • slight vignetting on the APS-C sensor,
  • silent, quick, and accurate autofocus,
  • excellent image stabilization,
  • very nice out-of-focus areas.

Cons:

  • huge level of focus breathing.
