Pros:

  • unique parameters,
  • very good image quality in the frame centre across the whole focal range,
  • good image quality on the edge of the APS-C sensor,
  • negligible longitudinal chromatic aberration,
  • good control of lateral chromatic aberration,
  • moderate distortion on the APS-C sensor,
  • low astigmatism,
  • decent coma correction,
  • silent, accurate, and quite fast autofocus,
  • slight vignetting on the APS-C sensor,
  • negligible focus breathing.

Cons:

  • too weak image quality on the edge of full frame at the minimum focal length,
  • too high pincushion distortion at the longer end of the focal spectrum,
  • distinct vignetting on full frame,
  • some problems with spherical aberration,
  • problems with a stronger stopping down of the aperture.
