The new lens will be the first for mirrorless cameras. The Sony E-mount version is launched. The new lens still maintains the portability feature. The length is only 156.5mm and the weight is 855g. Tamron’s VC anti-shake mechanism is added to make this lens more stable for handheld shooting. In addition, the second-generation 70-180mm F/2.8 adopts a new optical design, which can achieve excellent blur effect under the premise of maintaining high resolution. The focus motor also improves the focus tracking performance. In addition, the new lens also achieves a minimum focusing distance of 0.3m.
