Sony Announces Reorganization of Image Sensor Business

Image Sensors World noticed that Sony put out an announcement about the reorganization of its image sensor business. Image sensors are being moved from Imaging & Sensing Solutions to Corporate IS Department. Also, the matrix R&D structure of Development Division #1 and #2 is being morphed into Application Technology Development, System and Platform Technology Development, and Fundamental Technology Research and Development organizations. Sony hasn’t explained the changes further yet.
