Thanks Louis. To be honest, when I saw the “patent” page post. I was like, “This will come out like 2018 Photokina. Seeing photos of an actual sample gives me hope it’ll be out soon. Plus, I like the Voightlander lenses build. It’s one of a kind. My Zeiss’ were made there, and I never stopped liking them.

        • Voightlander and Zeiss have never let me down. I love their glass. I actually prefer a lot of their glass to Leica glass. It would be amazing if Zeiss or Voightlander made a camera again someday.

At this point in the game, don’t know. They help so much with their lenses and their little extra parts like the T* EVFs theh help create and the partnering with Sony. They are quite comfortable I think. Making a vintage film camera in limited run would be nice as like a celebration of sorts. Reviving an old design perhaps with basic, but modern trimmings.

To be honest, I’m glad Voigtlander gave priority on wide angles first for E-mount (was kind of in need of variety) to take advantage of that focal length market and then aiming for this focal length that is non-existent on their mount. Was reading comments relating to a 125mm f/2.5 APO-Lanthar on another forum. That’s a good prime focal length and aperture in my opinion.

Looks good, and a practical FL being just slightly longer than the usual standard macro lenses. Might well get one- any indication of when and how much? Is it the first gay pride macro lens?
