The optical performance is mostly superb except for a slight drop at 100mm f/2 and in the corners at 150mm.

Pros

1. Uniquely fast tele zoom lens
2. High performance
3. Relatively compact for an f/2 zoom lens

Cons

1. Background bokeh can be slightly busy in difficult scenes
2. Not compatible with teleconverters
3. Not cheap
4. Expensive front filters (95mm)
5. Tripod foot still not Arca-Swiss compatible
