Pros:
- small, shapely, and lightweight casing for given parameters,
- good image quality in the frame centre,
- sensible image quality on the edge of the APS-C/DX sensor,
- slight longitudinal chromatic aberration,
- low lateral chromatic aberration,
- lack of problems with spherical aberration,
- moderate vignetting on the smaller APS-C/DX sensor,
- silent and fast autofocus,
- low focus breathing,
- good price/performance and price/parameters index.
Cons:
- image quality on the edge of the frame near the maximum relative aperture leaves a lot to be desired,
- huge distortion on RAW files,
- noticeable coma,
- significant vignetting on full frame,
- weak performance against bright light.
