Teardown and comparison videos of the new Sony a7V have been posted by 二手光圈, and it appears that Sony has significantly improved the motherboard in the Sony a7V compared to the a7IV. One takeaway from the video is that you should use the bottom USB-C port to charge your camera since it is less complicated and thus less expensive to fix.
