New Sony FE 24-70mm f/2 GM Coming

Sony is rumored to announce a Sony FE 24-70mm f/2 GM soon. Some of the believed specs are below:

Weight: 1,145 grams
Compact design with extensive use of lightweight materials
No stabilization and optical parfocus, making it unsuitable for video users
Excellent control of dark corners and dispersion, high resolution in the center of the frame, undercorrected spherical aberration, and an overall image that is soft and full of detail

Canon currently has a 28-70mm f/2.0 lens that sells for over $3,099, so the Sony FE 24-70mm f/2 GM lens will probably be more than $3,000.
